Recovery Advice After Back Injury


About a month ago,I injured my iliocostalis lumborum whilst playing tennis.It was so painful that I couldn't play for a further two weeks but managed to do some gentle exercises as shown in an excellent book entitled 'The Anatomy of Stretching'' by Brad Walker.Numerous examples of stretching are expertly illustrated,described and located in this book which helped me overcome my pain and I would advise all my clients that stretching can definitely be of benefit as well as massage in recovering from muscular injuries.
